Meta's rule is simple: freeform outbound is allowed for 24 hours after the client's last inbound. Outside that window you must send a Meta-approved template. ImmiIQ enforces both sides of the rule automatically.

WhatsApp Business credentials are sealed in the shared integration vault with AES-256-GCM under per-org HKDF keys, the same envelope used for Xero and backup destinations. Provider webhook receipts are HMAC-verified through the shared verifyHmacWebhook helper and deduped in integration_webhook_events. Outbound sends respect Meta's 24-hour session-window server-side; the composer UI mirrors the same rule client-side so a stale tab cannot bypass it.

Yes. Connect your Twilio Messaging account under Settings then Integrations, register your WhatsApp Business sender and every client detail page grows a Send WhatsApp Business action. Meta's 24-hour window is enforced for you: freeform while it is open, Meta-approved templates while it is closed.
Does WhatsApp Business count against the ImmiIQ SMS quota?
No. Provider costs go directly to Twilio. ImmiIQ does not meter WhatsApp Business against the SMS quota that ships with your plan.
Do I have to design templates inside ImmiIQ?
No. Publish your templates once in the Twilio Content Editor and Meta will approve them under utility, marketing or authentication. ImmiIQ lists every approved template in the picker and lets you fill variables inline with a live preview.
