Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?

Yes — click a line of text, type the replacement, and we cover the original with a white box and place the new text in its position. Browser-only editors can't perfectly preserve the original font without server-side font extraction, so the new text uses a clean readable substitute (Helvetica).

Are my edits uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Rendering uses pdf.js in your browser; saving uses pdf-lib in your browser. The file and every edit you make never leave your tab.

Can I rearrange or delete pages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The thumbnail sidebar lets you click to rotate, click to delete, and drag to reorder pages before exporting.

Does it keep the file under the lodgement size cap?

Accepted Answer

Exports are written with pdf-lib's default compression. If you need a smaller file after editing, run the result through the Compress PDF tool.
