Yes. Use a plain wall behind you, soft daylight (no flash), face the camera directly and keep a neutral expression. Then crop here.
Why is the background white?
DHA specifies a plain, light-coloured background. The tool keeps your original background - you'll need to take the photo against a white wall (or use a separate background-remover first).
